the best! I was SO happy to find this completely gluten free place! Everything has been great. I especially like the pineapple sausage with garlic sauce. But honestly I've loved most everything I've tried here. The Japanese curry was a little spice for me (I'm a whimp). The shrimp is good, but it does have the shells on - I got pretty messy in my car trying to eat it. (take out only) The staff has been friendly and helpful every time I've gone.
went here twice during the week for lunch as it was the closest place that was fast, easy, a place I knew (not something unique that could be hit or miss), and that I knew would be reliable to my liking. I only had an hour for lunch in my break from training. I got the 6" Italian BMT both times and was delicious, just like I knew it to be. I appreciated the efficient service of the workers here.
I can't say much since I only tried one thing here but from the one thing I've tried it was so good. I got the chicken filet karage sando. It was super fresh and cooked to perfection. The bread was super fluffy and it was surprisingly pretty big. The ratio of everything was perfect and it all worked together super well. I definitely have to come back and try the other stuff when I'm back in San Francisco! The place was super cute inside but wish it was a little cooler. I know it's a little hotter because of the California summer but I got used to it after 5-10 min. If you're looking for a quick bite but want something considerably bigger than a snack, definitely try this place out

Love Matcha Cafe Maiko, it's always been a reliable hit for me and my friends. My mom and I stopped by here for a sweet treat and their September 2025 Flavor of the Month was Thai tea and milk tea!!! I had to get the swirl to experience both. The soft serve here is so creamy and yummy
